Hi,
On the subject of the mark '20' in Persian someone says:
. یه جورایی بیست همون A+ هست
I think the word order has changed owing to encoding problems and should be like this:
یه
جورایی
بیست
همون
A+
هست
However, my question is really about یه جورایی. I think that when someone is acting oddly you say e.g. مامان یه جورایی شده. Nevertheless, this seems very different from that particular usage.
Is it made up of 'jur' plus 'A' plus 'i'? Is the stress on the 'A'?
Best wishes,
Simon

I think this is much more near the source!

sort of, one way or another - awkward(ly)
In the first usage, یه جورایی (which is the colloquial form of یک جورهایی) means sort of, or one way or another. In the second usage, it is describing a person's awkward action or appearance.

there is something wrong with/about mommy!
I translate the second usage you mentioned. There's this movie "There's Something About Mary" which has been translated as: مری یه جوریه.

Another option...just occurred to me.
