What started out as a bored kid browsing through the English dictionary to pass the time has now developed into my career as a freelance translator/interpreter/subtitler (in no particular order whatsoever, as I like my work life to be varied and enjoy collaborating on diverse projects).

Regarding my experience, I have collaborated with numerous international film festivals (Febiofest, One World Documentary Film Festival, Fest Anča International Animation Film Festival, Cuban Film Days, Film Festival 4 Elements, etc.) for which I did subtitling, text translation, interpreting, or all of the above.

I also do subtitling for numerous VOD platforms and have experience with subtitling many genres—short and feature films, series, animated as well as live action films, documentaries, and interviews. As of now, I've subtitled more than 3200 minutes of audiovisual content.

When it comes to interpreting, I have had the pleasure to interpret discussions and media interviews with film/book authors and other guests, opening and closing/awarding ceremonies, and the MEUS 2021 conference, among others.

I will also be taking the European European Course in Conference Interpreting at Comenius University in Bratislava, starting in September 2022.

Some other prominent clients I have worked with are the Slovak Film Institute, the Slovak Design Centre, and Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, for instance.

I'm also part of the organising team of Fest Anča International Animation Festival since 2020, and One World Documentary Film Festival since 2022.
