I am native Ilocano. Being in one place to another, especially in Ilocano areas, gave me diversified perception and acceptance of terms and culture of every each province. Tagalog is our national language here in the Philippines, so its easy for me to immerse in this language. Being a news writer in Tagalog in my schooldays gave me an advantage in this endeavor. Additionally, I am on a Tagalog group in our community which help me to deepen my understanding in this language group.
