I was born in Italy and have always lived here, but my mother is British and spoke to me in English ever since I was born. Until 1996, I have regularly visited England and have again been travelling to England over the last couple of years.

I have a degree in Foreign Languages, but have always used my English as an interpreter, ever since I was a child.

After graduating in 1985, I spent 13 years working as an employee in secretarial roles, chiefly for multinational companies. As part of my job, translations and interpreting always played a leading role.

In 1998, I decided to stop working as an employee and focussed on translations. Since then, I have become a freelance translator. 80% of my work is for translation agencies.

I have worked a lot as an interpreter in spiritual events taking place in the 1994 – 1996 period.

I also internet a lot with English-speaking people on the topics I personally prefer: spiritualism, spirituality, spiritual development and spiritual awakening, death and dying, after death communication, mediumship, religions, etc.

Ever since 1994, I devote a lot of my free time to bereavement support, which is again chiefly conducted through internetting with English-speaking people.

Regarding my work as a translator, I have recently purchased TRADOS STUDIO 2009 to meet customers' requirements and am about to take a course to learn and use both this version and TRADOS SUITE 2007.
