Can anyone help me with this one? I don't have much context, except that the document deals with rocks, cement, quarries, and the like.

Here is a sentence: "Belgium is experiencing an increased demand for 140,000 tons 'edelkorninger'."

Edel is probably the same as Danish �del which in this case could be refined. Just another thought. Hope it helps. If not - kick me.

I believe it is a form of granules. The Danish "korninger" in the dictionary comes up as granulation.
