agree brigidm : spot on! (klimpar is the correct Swedish plural form).

Thanks. You don't have to spell them correctly to be able to eat them, and the dictionary doesn't give the plural. But I love all kinds of soup, and my Swedish sister in law is a dab hand at making klimpar!

Absolutely! I think I will have to make soup & dumplings this weekend (But it will be our family's Danglish way of using the vegetables in the garden just now, with English-inspired cheese dumplings or mini-scones)
