Hebrew term

אין יוצאים במחצה

Hebrew to English Other Religion
הבן החכם יש לו מבט רחב ומבין כי החוב לעשות דבר שלם, דבר ולא חצי דבר, וכי אין יוצאים במחצה

It must be something like - you don't credit for doing half of the job?
Is there an idiom for this in English?

There is no partial fulfillment/ credit

You're right that it means "you get no credit for doing it part way". The above phrase is the closest I can think of in English.
