no workers can do (nearly) anything but sleep in a "Tagesunterkunft". It's different from "Unterkünfte".

Maybe rest (brake) facilities. I'd incorporate the brake part, because OSHA defines a rest brake as a (tea/lunch/afternoon) break during the shift, whereas a rest period is the period between shifts / working days.
