هو تعهد بدفع مبلغ محدد على مدى فترة زمنية محددة. فعلى سبيل المثال، قد يتعهد أحد المانحين بدفع مبلغ 400 2 دولار على مدى أربع سنوات، على أقساط قدرها 50 دولارا شهرياً. يمكن أن تكون التعهدات "مشروطة"، أي أن السداد لا يكون مستحق إلا عندما يتم الوفاء بشرط ما أو "غير مشروط" حيث لا توجد شروط مرفقة.
