Quick question: 50Ķ = 50 acres or 8.5 acres?
Google shows a lot of cases when Ķ is directly translated into "acre", e.g. 30Ķ is 30 acres. However my dictionary says 1Ķ = 1/6 acre.

if this is 50市亩 -> 3.33 hectares (= 公顷)
[I think you could/should consider using mu and showing the conversion in brackets or as a footnote? The reader might expect the Chinese measure mu and the conversion? IMO mu is possibly the best-known of all the Chinese measures in English...]
use hectares (=公顷)(unless it is for the US)
市亩 = 0.0667公顷 = 0.1644英亩 -> 3.335公顷
市亩 = 1/15公顷 -> 50市亩 = 3.33公顷

fyi
if a single word Ķ is used, it refers to the Chinese traditional measurement. so 1Ķ = 1/6 acre
acre should be translated into ӢĶ

50 mou, or XXX acres
'mou' or 'mu' already into the English language. Check it out in MW3.
