我觉得此处的 “南北转战”只能意译，否则如果直译成“fight both in the south and in the north"，那么读者首先会认为这个公司真的是在打仗，其次，south 和 north 的指代也不清楚。 实际上，根据上下文， “南北转战”是指该集团公司在中国的各个地方做了很多项目（“南北”应该是借代“整个中国”）。译文为：undertake/do projects throughout China，当然这里用现在完成时较好。
