Naikei Wong May 2, 2006:
If this news is very recent, then the plan (just one) has long been finalized. It's not a matter of choosing between something, but getting feedback.

HPDI had developed a few alignment options for the HZMB across the Pearl River Estuary, which were examined by experts from the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao during an Expert Panel Meeting on the HZMB Alignment organised by the National Development and Reform Commission on 1 and 2 April 2005. The Expert Panel Meeting recommended the bridge-cum-tunnel alignment with landings at San Shek Wan of the HKSAR, Gongbei of Zhuhai and A Pérola of the Macao SAR.

plan [/design] of the bridge's landing points and span directions

You may replace "plan" with "design"... The bridge is actually Y-shaped.... 桥位 refers to where it should with the land mass (in Macau, HK, and Shenzhen)...

Or "span alignments" if you want. alignment is good but I suspect it refers more to direction, since it's a complex design (not linear).

correction: I realize this bridge is kind of like a subproject of the Macau-HK-Shenzhen Bridge project, that's why Shenzhen is not mentioned. But Macau and Zhuhai form two landing points in the West. Still a Y shape.
