Swedish term

E, N, K

Swedish to English Medical Medical (general)
In a medical record, e.g.

E: Saturerar sig väl
N: Äter lasagne
K: Åter smärta vänster sida

Wondering what these abbreviations mean? Thanks!
Proposed translations (English)
1 erytrocyterna, näring, känsla

Discussion

Michele Fauble Oct 29, 2023:
Yes, red blood cells (erythrocytes) well saturated with oxygen, easily tested with a pulse oximeter.
Christopher Schröder Oct 25, 2023:
I thought saturering was about blood oxygen/breathing? Could it possibly be ENT???
Cynthia Coan Oct 22, 2023:
Hydration? After pondering the matter, the best educated guess I can come up with for the "E" entry is something tying in with hydration and/or fluid intake. It seems that would be a logical item to go with nourishment and sensation/feeling (and "saturerar sig väl" would indicate the patient is keeping up with his/her fluids), but I'm not sure about a relevant, descriptive term that begins with "E". Suggestions, anyone?
Christopher Schröder Oct 21, 2023:
Näring känsla and um… err… Eodd?

Pulse oximetry is a test used to measure the oxygen level (oxygen saturation) of the blood.

neutral Cynthia Coan : I must admit I don't quite see how red blood cells tie in with nourishment or feeling/sensation.
