Discussion

Lirka Oct 21, 2023:
I researched it and came up with this: I would translate as follows:
Extranodal Lymphoma Study Group (IELSG) stage "IVE"

there are many classifications, so you should mention that it is IELSG.

Stage IVE: Multifocal disease in a single bone or lesions in multiple bones in a disease exclusively limited to the skeleton (without lymph nodal or visceral disease)

There are 4 stages: IE, IIE, IVE and IV:

IE: Single bony lesion
IIE: Single bony lesion with involvement of regional lymph nodes
IVE: Multifocal disease in a single bone or lesions in multiple bones in a disease exclusively limited to the skeleton (without lymph nodal or visceral disease)
IV: Disseminated lymphoma with at least one bony lesion

stadio IVE

agree Lirka : yes, you are right I researched it (see my discussed entry). But you need to provide an EN answer: I'd suggest saying: IELSG stage "IVE"

IVE

I think it's a roman numeral 4, plus 'E', and this is the staging of the lymphpoma, hence 'stadio'.

Stage 4 is the most advanced stage of lymphoma. Lymphoma that has started in the lymph nodes and spread to at least one body organ outside the lymphatic system (for example, the lungs, liver, bone marrow or solid bones) is advanced lymphoma.

If you have the letter ‘E’ after your stage (Extranodal lymphoma):

Doctors also sometimes use the letter ‘E’, which stands for ‘extranodal’. This means that the lymphoma started in a body organ that is not part of the lymphatic system.

If I'm correct, I would translate it as 4, which is much more common than IV.
