3. Arterial reconstruction: The donor celiac artery was anastomosed to the recipient common hepatic artery at the level of the gastroduodenal artery. This is a very large anastomosis, but there was some atherosclerotic disease of the donor. This was performed with interrupted 7-0 PDS suture.
