German term

RM-nahe Anästhesie

German to English Medical Medical (general)
This just appears in a list of potential adverse events from anesthesia on a medical form. I haven't found any good solutions for RM, even though it seems to be a relatively common term.

Discussion

Barbara L Pavlik (asker) Mar 2, 2022:
Well, it is going to be very difficult to assign points for this one, because everyone was right in a way and really contributed to the unraveling of this term. Special mention goes to Barbara Schmidt for being the first to "solve the mystery" and to Harald Moelzer for confirming uyuni's final clarification. I wish I could give points to all of you! Thank you for your time and effort!

... considering uyuni's comment

"neuraxial anesthesia"

would be even more precise, e.g. see

It might also be just spinal anesthesia:
The local anesthetic with or without an opioid injected into the cerebrospinal fluid provides locoregional anaesthesia
