Theatre in Education (T.I.E.)
"Theatre in education (TIE) originated in Britain in 1965 and has continued to present day . Monica Prendergast and Juliana Saxton cited TIE as "one of the two historic roots of applied theatre practice". TIE typically includes a theatre company performing in an educational setting (i.e. a school) for youth, including interactive and performative moments."

Theatre in Education (the official name) is a well established practice in UK and its name is strictly applied to all theatre groups that devise their performances for educational purposes in schools. This newspaper article discusses an actors work in this area:
"Along with plenty of amateur work, he also has professional acting experience gained while touring with TIE (Teaching in Education) which involved visiting schools in Scotland and the North-east with the aim of bringing the theatre to children."

educational play
Dear Jeremy Lion. Why is your show called Jeremy Lion Goes Green? Do you paint yourself green?
Ha ha! Of course I don’t paint myself green, don’t be so stupid. It’s an **educational play** about the dangers of global warming, aerosols, leaving the tap running and ice caps. I go on a special journey to learn all about the world around us and how we’ll all die if we don’t sort things out.
Discussion
The amount of information so far looks a bit vague to specify this in English.
