Es geht um Wirkstoffe und Substanzen (bovine aprotinin/BA, tranexamic acid/TA), die in einer amerikanischen Studie immer wieder mit dem Adjektiv "topical" versehen werden.
Bedeutet "topical" hier, dass es sich um eine "aktuelle Version/Variante" handelt (im Sinne von: auf dem neuesten technischen/chemischen Stand) und wie könnte man das in möglichst einem Wort sinnvoll und trotzdem elegant übersetzen.
Oder hat "topical" hier eine ganz andere Bedeutung???
