German term
Einführaussparung

Grinding wheel
This is from the voice-over for a marketing video for an industrial grinder:
Wählen Sie Ihr Ausgleichgewicht oder Ausgleichsgewichte anhand der am Umfang notierten Zahl. Die Form und Größe der Auswuchtgewichte variieren abhängig der Auswuchtnutgeometrie. Führen sie das oder die Gewichte in die Einführaussparung, und schieben Sie es bis zur markierten Stelle.
Choose your counterweight or balancing weights on the basis of the number written on the perimeter. The shape and size of the balancing weights vary depending on the balancing groove geometry. Guide the balancing groove or the weights into the [import opening?], and push it up to the marked position.
What is an Einführaussparung? I can't find the word anywhere.

gap
I think you've pretty much got it right. I would use the word "feed" though for the verb, because einfuehr really means feed, like feeding paper into a printer. So I would say
"Feed the balancing groove or the weights into the gap provided and push it up to the marked position."
"Feed the balancing groove or the weights into the gap provided and push it up to the marked position."

slot/channel/recess
IF you take it apart, Einführ- is insertion, Aussparung is slot, groove, channel, recess. In English highly redundant, so Einführ would have to go, in my opinion.

: Führen / Einführen is only needed once in the sentence. Insert the balancing weight(s) into the groove/slot/recess.
