Spanish term

nicho hidrante

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Safety
This is from a questionairre about safety and security at a museum.
I thought it was fire hose, but the parts are listed as lanza, reductor, gabinete/nicho...Perhaps it is the box where fire hoses are kept? Is there a term for that in English?
Thanks

Wendy This is not sour grapes or anything, but I think you've chosen the wrong answer. Even Robert agreed with my reply and said that his was wrong, but I had to delete and repost it because my reference kept coming out wrong. A fire extinguisher is an extinctor, but this is a hydrant, and as your other question shows it contains a reducer so that you can fit smaller hoses onto it.
