There are plenty of weather proverbs and other ones which might do the trick, but I think you might be able to render it best without looking for a proverb which might not be exactly spot on.

Not perhaps the best option, but the idea is that she just seems to make things worse, takes things worse... is more sensitive, is going through a bad patch... something like that.
