Spanish term

servicio asistido

Spanish to English Other Automotive / Cars & Trucks service station
This is a sign for a service station. No more context than that, just a list of signs.

My proposed translation is: "attendant on duty". Any opinions?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions. I'm going to go with my original idea, in the absence of a sure answer. I was hoping someone would be familiar with the term and could explain it. The job's been turned in, but I'll leave this open for a bit just in case someone does know for sure.

I have translated "servicio atendido" as full service. Perhaps in error?
Nedra Rivera Huntington (asker) May 29, 2006:
"Road service" did also cross my mind, but I'm not convinced. The other items are:

-Servicio Atendido
-Prepago
-Autoservicio
-Horario
-Servicio Asistido
-Estación de Servicio
-Teléfono de Atención al Cliente
-De 22 a 7
-Presiones de inflado para camiones y autocares
-Presiones de inflado para vehículos de turismo

if that helps.

Might be "full-service," as opposed to "autoservicio" which could be "self-service." Although "full-service" use to mean more services, now it basically means that they pump the gas for you.

Sorry I hadn't seen the other term. Well, I agree with you that "servicio atendido" should be "full-service," but when I searched the web there are a lot of examples of the phrase "servicio asistido/autoservicio." Try this search: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&client=safari&rls=en-...
Either way, I like your translation of "attendant on duty," for one of them :)

to repair or provide maintenance. Nevertheless, I can't understand the difference between "servicio atendido" e "sevicio asistido"
