I do not think is killing anything because there are actually hundreds of site offering free subtitles. That does not mean they are any good. You can only use private to make clue about the film but you cannot show a film on TV with those. | |

Obviously, the bit about the 100,000 volunteers is a lie. It can't be true, not a chance. That aside, why not? The internet is full of fansubs as it is, and if they introduce some sort of review/quality control, that's great. To be honest, fansubs tend to be better than the official stuff a lot of the time. At least the people who make them are interested in the show they're subtitling and understand the action, which sometimes can't be said of the underpaid pros. By th... At least the people who make them are interested in the show they're subtitling and understand the action, which sometimes can't be said of the underpaid pros. By the way, this is not a subtitle site. It is a video streaming site. It seems to stream mostly TV series and some films, although the selection is not that huge. I'm not even sure if they have the rights to their material or this is some pirate venture.
