Worth a visit alright.

I played once, but never even reached the 40 mark.
Stopped at level 37 with 3020 grains.

How many grains are in a cup of rice? - Answer: 12500 Dec 14, 2007

Well, after introducing the game to my family, and spending some time on it, my 6-year old and I decided to figure out how much is all that grain.
We counted out 500 grains of rice, and that was almost exactly 2 tablespoons (10ml). To be honest, this was quite a shock to me, I thought it would be much more.
Anyway, a cup is about 25 times this volume, so we figured that we would need 25 X 500 = 12500 grains of rice to fill up a cup.
