I am a Chemical/Energy engineer trained in Automation, with 16 years of overall work experience, 14 of them in the Energy field (6 with Fuel cells, 4,5 with Diesel gensets, 1 in Water & Energy efficiency, 2,5 in Oil & Gas) and able to effectively use three languages (Italian, Portuguese, English) in my job.

I propose myself as a technical translator for my specialties, in my language pairs.

In several occasions, I have created/translated, on part-time basis and as side function of my work or for personal purposes/interests:

• Work documents: presentations, spreadsheets, reports and short manuals, mainly about Fuel cells or Diesel gensets.
• Personal purposes: immigration and medical documents, for my family or friends.
• Personal interests: open source projects websites, user manuals and software (software and website localization). One of these sites is Wikipedia, the bigger job has been on the Doudoulinux Linux distribution project.

Normal teaching language has been Portuguese, at a lesser extent English and French.
  
• 4.5 years in Angola, as Field Service Engineer/Project Manager, in an electromechanical background: coordinating installation and commissioning of General Electric diesel gensets, and providing training, service support and inputs for the Power Plant building (Stationary applications). In some cases I have provided service support onboard of vessels. Daily communication in Portuguese and English, at a lesser extent in Italian.
  
• 6 years in Italy, as Project developer, in an electrochemical background: performing applied research at different scales (bench/pilot plant) on the hydrogen chain, involved both in production (reforming, biomasses), use (fuel cells), storage (metal hydrides and carbon nanotubes). My tasks included Project Management, Process Design, Mechanical assembly and electrical wiring, Control System Programming (Labview, PLCs), Testing, Installation and Commissionig.
  
• 1 year in Italy, as Utility analyst, in a chemical background: performing water and energy consumption analysis and developing consumption reduction plans.

• Schematics: P&IDs, isometrics, electrical/control drawings; less frequently pneumatic/oleodynamics.
• Automation software: Labview (frequently also programming), GE/Siemens PLCs/HMIs (the most of the times just installing and troubleshooting), GE ECU.
• Other software: Office suites (Office, Open/Libre Office), Diagramming software (Viso/Dia/ QElectrotech); less frequently ProII/Hysys/Dwsim, Mathlab/Scilab, Solidworks/Autocad, Homer.
