English to French team to temporarily replace a full time translator

There is an in-house senior translator who will be taking a temporary leave and so they have asked us to provide a team for coverage for this period. This does not require translators to work at the client’s office, however, even though the work will all be completed remotely, they will require the same level as service as they are accustomed to receiving from their on-site translator so this will require a dedicated team who can be fully committed.

Though normal volumes are manageable for a single translator, we are looking for 2-3 translators plus 1-2 revisers to ensure complete availability and sufficient capacity. Please review the details below and let me know if you are interested.

Scheduling
• The work will last for a minimum of 3 months from beginning of May 2024 to beginning of August 2024.
o Some onboarding work may be required at the end of April.
o There is potential for an additional month, though this is to be determined closer to August. If needed, the same team would need to be available for the additional time.
• While they try to keep most work within standard business hours, the reality of working with this office is that work could be needed during early mornings, late evenings, weekends or even holidays.
o Most work will be pre-scheduled and as much notice as possible will be provided, but translations themselves may require very quick turnaround.
