Şu anda farklı bölgelerdeki üç tesisle Çipura –levrek yavrusu üretiminde yıllık 35 Milyon adeti yakalamış bulunmaktayız. . Pazar payında Türkiye ikincisiyiz.. Başlangıçtaki vizyon Bodrumda stok merkezi kurularak geliştirildi. 2000 yılında farklı türde Akdeniz Balıkları ( Sinarit ,Karagöz, Sargoz, ve Kırmızı mercan türleri )yetiştirmek için İzmir bölgesinde yatırımlar planlandı. Yeni türler için kuluçkahane ve büyütebilmek için Karaburun yarımadasında , Yunan adalarına yakın bir bölgede, Kafes tesislerimiz kuruldu.Şu anda porsiyonluk balık üretiminde , farklı iki lokasyonda 1450 ton yıllık kapasiteye sahibiz. Şu anda bu ürünlerde kafeslerimizde ve halen büyüyorlar.
Tüm ürünlerimizde üniversiteler ve kendi biyolojik takımımız ürünün gelişimi takip ediyorlar .Balık sağlığı raf ömrü-tazelik süresi , renk ve lezzet gibi konularda nasıl doğa balığı ile özdeş olabiliriz bunun üzerinde çalışıyorlar.Ayrıca Tarım bakanlığının uyguladığı ulusal rezidü ( Kalıntı izleme programı) dahilinde düzenli olarak ürünlerin içinde yaşadığı deniz suyu ve balıkların dokularındaki olası kimyasal kalıntılar takip ediliyor. Let us tell you briefly about our company first. Our company was founded in the Adana region located in the south of Turkey. Our company was initially founded for the purpose of culture-farming shrimps. Later towards the mid 1990s with the developments in the market, it has also begun farming sea brass and gild headed bream.
Our company still owns an active fish hatchery over 35 hectares of lagoon area in that region (Adana). Today with facilities spread over three different regions we have reached 35 million units annually in production of sea brass and gild headed bream babies. We are the second largest in Turkey’s market share. Our primary vision was developed by founding a stock center in Bodrum. In year 2000, investments around Izmir region for breeding various species of Mediterranean fish ( such as dentex, sea bream, and red sea bream) were planned. A hatchery for the new species was built, and a cage facility for their breeding was built around the Karaburun peninsula, close to the Greek Islands. Today, we have a capacity for annual production of 1450 tons of fish in two different locations. Our company, is active with 130 employees in six different locations consisting of a total of three hatcheries, two cage facilities, and a fish feed factory. From June 2004 until now, we have attained a sales level of 150 tons of sea bream, dentex and brown maigre. 60% of that sale consisted of exports, mainly to Greece. By the way, we have authorized distributors in Athens and Thessaloniki, and a firm named Akuvatur Hellas is recently in its foundation stage in Greece. We are also one of the partners of a Verona based company called Belmare, founded with 100% Turkish capital in Italy. That company is also present in this fair with the name Akvatürk (Aquaturk).
Dentex, sea bream, bream, brown maigre are, at the moment, ready in their appropriate market sizes in our cages. Moreover, white sea bream and redbanded sea bream are going to be ready for summer 2006, and species such as shi drum, pagry are also planned to be produced. In the coming years, we are planning to introduce a new concept called “as wild catch” where we supply the market with sea bream, and sea brass in its most natural color and taste. The fish are being breeded in our cages.
Experts from the university and our own biology experts team monitor the development of our products. They work on the shelf-life of the fish, on the necessary health conditions, and on how we can come as close as possible to the natural breeds’ color and taste. Furthermore they analyze the sea water the fish live in and the their skin for any possible chemical residue under the Ministry of Agriculture’s National Residue Monitoring program. In cases that don’t match the Program’s criteria, of course the products are not allowed for exportation.
