Dear Friends,

My business partner and I just moved into a new office in the center of Tianjin. If you are in Tianjin or visiting it, remember to drop by for a cup of tea.

My partner and I are still settling down in the new office, adding here and there things of daily necessity for both business and office fun. More decoration hopefully will be done in the next few days but I can't wait to put up a photo here so you get an idea what the office is looking like right now.




The office is located not far from the commercial center of Tianjin and is just few minutes away by walk from shopping centers on Gold street and Silver street. You are always welcome to visit us during business hours (10:00 - 17:00) Monday through Friday at Chengji Center. When you come, just contact me via my profile.

看到天津的的帖子好兴奋 Aug 25, 2008

来Proz很久了,发言很少,可能因为我只能算是一个偶尔翻译点东西的人吧,始终没能真正大量的从事翻译。但是看到有关天津的帖子真高兴,我曾在天津学习了两年多的时间,期间也在天津的翻译公司从事过不少的翻译。呵呵,问候!

我一直为这事情头痛。

1。找PARTNER的必要性是什么?无非是要做大,可是你找来这个要是不能帮你作大怎么办?

2。股份怎么算?总不能对半吧?没有说话算数得或上下级关系,不久就会打架。

3。你原有的生意怎么算?假设原有10万/年,你把这10万都裹入这个PARTNERSHIP,到头来两个人做只有15万/年,这不是白白把生意送人吗?

4。如果你不把原有的生意裹入这个PARTNERSHIP,自己还有时间做原有得生意吗?在PARTNERSHIP里上班干自己原有得活,不是等于干私活吗?对方怎么会答应?

也许我这些都是农民意识(没有贬低农民得意思,只是跟别人学的比喻)。对于想法成熟得人来说,也许都不是问题,但这些都是我开业当天就会遇到得问题。

目前无解,欢迎借JJ这块宝地探讨一下。

我觉得找搭档的前提首先是两人的业务操作方式和经营理念应该统一,愿意牺牲一部分时间和精力经营共同的客户和业务。最佳搭档应该具有互补性,而不一定是强强合作(强强只能拆台,或许)。比如,一方在资金上较雄厚,在开发某些市场方面有特长,而另一方有密切的国内关系网,在经营方面有专长等。

就目前我们的合作模式而言,可以说是一个实践,也未准就能成功(现在还算磨合期嘛!)我们有各自的业务,在各自维护业务量的前提下,共同开发新的市场,聘请本地的专人做文员和译员,由双方培训,译稿由我们审阅。

万事开头难,这个月我们已经投入不少,除了租房、搬家、办公用品等。我上周末刚买了冰箱,今天订了矿泉水也买了饮水机,接着应该是微波炉,文具等等也逐渐添齐...。客户方面,开始从本地政府的一个部门接些赚不上钱的小稿件,希望以后量会大起来...。

成与不成,非要试一下才知道。即便是不成功,也定会从中学到很多经验,可以从头再来。

就我来看,合作也得有缘分,脾气相投,相互理解,否则就会搞得双方都不愉快。可能最容易发生问题的地方就是费用承担和盈利分红的比例。要是事先立个合同,就会避免很多麻烦。

从电视上看到,塘沽建设的很好,加上往返京津的动车,看来天津的房地产要升值了。

这正是国内很多“朋友关系”的合作者做不到的地方。碍着关系和面子,先君子了,后面就不好办。

十年前去过天津做社会实践,那时候对天津的认识就是夏利和康师傅,呵呵,就是去康师傅那里做的社会实践。

劝业场在和平路和滨江道交口处,办公室在南京路上,步行到劝业场需要十五分钟左右吧,但与国际商场、日航酒店、伊势丹和吉利大厦相毗邻。
