I am looking for a way to send selected text (preferably in any program, in Windows XP) to multiple (online) Machine Translation engines, and then end up with the various different versions of the same translation displayed in a comparative table for easy comparison and possible use.

Something similar to the way 'Client for Google Translate 4.4.360' (http://translateclient.com/) works.

How difficult would it be to code something like this?

1. Google Translate
2. Language Weaver
3. SDL Freetranslation
4. Yahoo Babelfish
5. Microsoft Bing Translator

... but it would be worthwhile reading the small print in the T&C of the 'target' sites before spending any time on development.

If those sites don't object to hacking, harvesting, or similar exploits extending beyond 'normal use' then by all means go ahead with your project. But if they do object, you might want to check whether WiFi Internet is available in your local prison (or, worse still, their local prison if, perchance, you are extraditable).
