I was wondering how I can find the table that shows KudoZ points allocation, i.e. the table that shows how many KudoZ points is each and every action. I could not find it under any (old) menu item at all.

KudoZ points are assigned by the asker
Dec 24, 2009
Merhaba Atil!
When you answer a KudoZ question and your answer is selected by the asker of the question as the most helpful among the answers received, you will be granted between 1 and 4 KudoZ points. When the points are granted automatically (because of peer agreement) you will get 4 points.
There is no other way of getting KudoZ points, you may be asking about browniz (earned through different community actions).
Regards, Enrique

My KudoZ
Dec 24, 2009
Hello Atil,
I'm not sure if I correctly understood what you are looking for but I'd like to suggest you to go to the "My KudoZ" page under the KudoZ tab in the main menu. Detailed statistics of your all-time KudoZ participation are available there.
Regards,
Çağdaş

Thank you but...

Thank you both Enrique and Çağdaş for your replies. I meant tabular information as below:
Doing X is worth A KudoZ points. Doing Y is worth B KudoZ points. Doing Z is worth C KudoZ points.
and so on.
In other words, the information will show how many KudoZ points you earn by doing specific actions. I am sorry this caused some confusion.

how many kudoz you earn
Dec 24, 2009
Hello Atil, when you answer a question, if the asker chooses your answer, he will decide how many kudoz he gives you; you can't know in advance how many points you will earn. From my point of view, answering question is worth not only because you get kudoz points, but also because it might open a discussion which can be interesting. Merry Chrsitmas to you. Anne.

The answer is in the FAQ
Dec 24, 2009
Here is the answer, from the FAQ:
2.22 - What is the criteria for the number of points (1-4) I should award to the selected answer?
When deciding how many points to award, please consider this scale as a guideline:
4: Answer was acceptable, explanation was good, reference was provided (or not needed) 3: Answer was acceptable, explanation was good, but reference was lacking 2: Answer was acceptable 1: Answer was somewhat helpful

Earning KudoZ Points
Dec 25, 2009
I think I got it now. The only way to get KudoZ points is when you answer a KudoZ question and if your answer is selected by the asker, you can get 1 through 4 Kudoz points. There is no other way to earn KudoZ points. I used to think there are other ways to earn KudoZ points. Thank you very much everyone for making that clear.
Sincerely, ATIL
