After finishing my studies of Interpreting at the University of Leipzig, Germany, in June 2007 (degree: Diplom-Dolmetscherin), I started working as a translator and interpreter in a translation office in Leipzig. There, my tasks included the translation of texts from English and French to German and from German to English as well as various interpretation jobs in my working languages. The texts were from different fields including construction, contracts and patents, medical texts (study reports, patient information leaflets, patents etc.), press releases, financial texts, marketing, sports and automotives.
In March 2010, I started working as a freelance interpreter and translator.
In my career as a freelancer, I did interpretation assignments in the fields of biomedicine, agriculture, logistics, and at a memorial site, among others.
My translation assigments mainly come from the fields of medicine (clinical trials, qualitative market research), business (contracts, audit reports, logistics), HR (contracts, further education, staff training, company-internal communication), construction (building specifications).
Plus, I take on proofreading assignments and transcription jobs (monolingual and bilingual).
