Bio

I am a recent alum of Rutgers University, where I studied Linguistics and Translation & Interpreting. Over the past two years, I have taken a deep and gratifying dive into the T&I industry, and among other experiences and achievements, post-graduation I landed a position as a translation coordinator for the language services department in a large healthcare organization. Outside of this position, I offer freelance translation and interpreting services. I am currently pursuing ATA Certification for Spanish to English and English to Spanish translation, in addition to multiple certifications and credentials in interpreting.

If you need someone to help out with a brief translation project into English or need support in subtitling, don't hesitate to reach out and inquire. If you are a fellow translator/interpreter, cheers! Feel free to shoot me an email, I'd love to discuss collaboration opportunities and/or experiences as young persons in this industry.

My knowledge and (research) interests are in the areas of translation technologies, productivity in translation, medical translation, terminology management/documentation, medical and legal interpreting, note-taking strategies, conference interpreting and the simultaneous mode in general, as well as language access, T&I in higher education and professionalization of T&I, sociolinguistics, speech corpora, discourse analysis, demand-control schema, and translator resources (forums, parallel texts, bilingual corpora, etc).
