Discussion

Eurotonas.com Apr 15, 2011:
Nevartokite vs. Nenaudokite Nevartokite shall be used with products that are intended for internal use, like medicines or food products. Mr. Alexander specified that the product is detergent, so in this case the word Nenaudokite shall be used.
Eurotonas.com Apr 15, 2011:
if you are sensitive Please note that the "jautrus (dirglus, alergiškas)" is applicable to male user only. So if your product is intended to male users only, then please use "jautrus", but if users are both men and women, then please use our version "jautrūs" (the plural covering both masc. and fem. genders) or alternatively "jautrus (-i)", which also covers both Lithuanian genders.

Selected

jei esate jautrūs kuriai nors jo sudedamajai daliai

Alternative: jei esate jautrus (-i) kuriai nors jo sudedamajai daliai

Our version is allright if you mean the user either male or female (jūs - jautrūs). Moreover, the "sudedamajai daliai" is more correct in terms of rules of proper Lithuanian language. This version is also approved by the State Commission of Lithuanian Language.

If really plural for ingredients shall be used, even if it is not necessary in the Lithuanian translation, then the translation of the sentence shall be as follows:
Nenaudokite šio produkto, jei esate jautrūs jo sudedamosioms dalims.

[Nevartokite šio produkto,]jeigu esate jautrus (dirglus, alergiškas) kuriai nors jo sudėtinei daliai

.
Note from asker:
Thank you. I would prefer "its ingredients" in plural.

agree Justas Staniulis : maybe „kuriai nors jo sudėtinių dalių“ would be better?
