Jun 6, 2008 05:17: Ramesh Bhatt Created KOG entry

Jun 18, 2008 15:36: sondhink (X) changed "Level" from "Non-PRO" to "PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): Rajesh Srivastava, keshab, sondhink (X)

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Peer comment(s):

agree chaman4723 : why 'ka'

Thanks! "Ka" seems essential to me on account of what it conveys thus. If Ka isn't there, the expression means something like: "The resolution granting assistance [to the agrieved party]"
agree Anil Goyal : I also feel "Ka" is not reqd here. Out of 4, I will choose

Thank you! Yes, the option pointed out is better. It came to my head only after Chaman Ji's comment.
agree Nirmala Phatak : I agree with सहायता द्वारा प्राप्त समाधान which describes the term better

Thanks!
agree Suyash Suprabh : I think "ka" is not required here.

Thanks! I thought the meaning might not be obvious without "Ka". सहायता द्वारा प्राप्त समाधान is to be understood from the expression. That is why I have added "Ka".
agree nkaur : I agree with सहायपा द्वारा प्राप्त समाधान, "ka" changes the meaning of the sentence

neutral Anil Goyal : Though we use this for MS projects, but it doesn't really convey the correct meaning. IMO Ramesh's suggestion is better.

If below given is the context, प्रोत्साहित समाधान would be a suitable term:

"Often a complaint may be resolved with the assistance of a Resolution Officer. Resolution Officers are officers of the Commission and they remain neutral in the assisted resolution process. It is their role to help all parties attempt to resolve the complaint. Participation in assisted resolution is voluntary."

I am giving you a few
examples such as-
1. Computer assisted resolution
3. Endoscopy assisted resolution(see-www.cababstractsplus.org/google/abstract.asp?AcNo=200430677...
4. Court assisted resolution(see-www.in.gov/legislative/ic/2004/title20/ar33/ch8.5.pdf )

In this study, a novel architecture is presented for query resolution in large-scale mobile sensor networks. A salient feature of our architecture is that it takes advantage of mobility to increase the efficiency of query resolution. The architecture borrows from the concept of small worlds and introduces the concept of contacts that act as short cuts to reduce the degrees of separation between the sources of the query and the targeted objects. Contacts are initially chosen from nearby neighbors, as they move away they discover new neighbors and hence become more effective in query resolution.

Example sentence:

Computer-assisted resolution of transient absorption bands of phenyldibenzophosphole in fluid solution

Mobility-assisted resolution of queries in large-scale mobile sensor networks

Most suitable way to resolve your complaint is through Assisted Resolution=

Resolution is not always "समाधान". It is "विश्लेषण" too. And thus the translation can be perfect.
