The context is the testing of the firing of guns, probably on a military weapons range - "aanschieten van wapenopstellingen". "Firing" does not seem to capture the exact meaning. I was thinking about "firing in", to indicate that adjustments are made to the weapons so as to ensure they accuracy, but I'm not sure about it. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
