Italian term

STRATEGICI E FINANZIARI DI FUNZIONE

Italian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) remuneration policy
Heading in a Report on Remuneration. It follows the headings Sustainability and People Engagement. I know 'funzione' is 'function' or 'department' but can't pick up the meaning here.

TIA for any help.

Yes, sorry, I've just noticed that the text says they're individual goals, so that word is redundant in the heading.

I think you could be a little more concise in your translation - the Italian uses a lot of words to say not very much.

Maybe: "These are individual objectives focused on financial and operational performance, internal efficiency, and the managerial skills and level of responsibility involved in the role."
GillW (MCIL) (asker) Mar 17, 2022:
These are individual goals, so from what you say Phil, I guess 'di funzione' means 'individual' here?
philgoddard Mar 17, 2022:
So would I be right in saying that all three headings are sets of goals, and "strategici e finanziari" qualifies "obiettivi"? Are these goals for individuals or larger groups?

The reason I ask is that "funzione" can mean an individual or a department.
GillW (MCIL) (asker) Mar 17, 2022:
Explanation for the heading is as follows: These are individual objectives focused on economic/financial and operational performance, internal efficiency and issues relating to the model of managerial skills assigned in relation to the scope of responsibility for the role performed./Trattasi di obiettivi individuali focalizzati sulla performance economico/finanziaria e operativa, sull’efficienza interna, su tematiche relative al modello delle competenze manageriali assegnati in relazione al perimetro di responsabilità del ruolo ricoperto.

This seems to be a common phrase.
