Toni Castano Feb 22, 2021:
@Marcelo Thank you. That´s what I thought.
Now in Vietnam! Gosh, you´re a globetrotter (surely you gather no moss like the rolling stones). Take care and regards from Spain.
Marcelo González Feb 22, 2021:
@Toni Sure, it's missing a 'to,' which could be placed in either one of two locations. Other than that, it 'sounds' fine, at least to this native speaker. Cheers from Vietnam!
Toni Castano Feb 22, 2021:
It does not sound English Quite apart from the possible translation for this 12-word sentence (Kudoz rules restrict this to only 10 words, please respect them!), the source doesn´t sound like native English. I was expecting something like "contribute by offering help to others".

Alternativas para "check on someone":

another suggestion. "someone" is singular. However, in my suggestion I chose a plural form because I think it refers to anyone in general

to check-in on someone = to call or go someone's home to see if they're okay

someone struggling = someone having problems/going through a rough time

"podemos contribuir ofreciendo ..."

With respect to the meaning of 'to check-in on,' I meant 'to call [someone] or go TO someone's home ...'

And seeing it now, I also like Bea's suggestion.

I hope this helps!

The ability to take care of others is offered, as well as the offer to drop in to see how they're doing.
