Tal vez así, el original podría querer expresar que
"Frecuentemente, el síndrome de LGL no aparece // no se expresa/manifiesta clínicamente durante la infancia aunque puede presentarse en etapas posteriores".
Como dicho, el literal original me resulta chocante. Recomendaría revisar el texto original...
No obstante, en relación al síndrome de preexcitación Lown-Ganong Levine, revisaría el original pues la lectura literal del fragmento aportado no parece corresponderse con ningún dato asociado a este cuadro clínico: "Frecuentemente, el síndrome de LGL desaparece durante el primer año de vida aunque puede recurrir en etapas posteriores".
Es posible que se refiera a que las anomalías estructurales que se presumen asociadas a este síndrome de base electrocardiográfica habitualmente no tienen traducción clínica (en forma de taquicardias paroxísticas) hasta la adolescencia o juventud. O simplemente que la clínica del LGL no aparece habitualmente durante la infancia y sí más tarde. (...)
