натворить дел

Russian to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature
An author is thinking about her writing.

Unsure if натворить дел here is implying somethinng more like getting mixed up in something, or more like having an adventure.

Ее литературная героиня всегда бежит, всегда опаздывает, успевая при этом натворить дел, куда-то едет и вроде уже сев в поезд, в последние минуты что-то вспомнит, вскрикнет, прикрывая рот ладонью, «Ааах! Секунду, умоляю!», и за эту секунду она и вправду успеет — еще натворить дел, захлопнуть за собой дверь и исчезнуть в вагоне уходящего поезда, чтобы вернуться вновь.

I don't think the author means that her character does anything bad. I think she means that the lady "stirs things up" everywhere she goes.
