Hello all,
happy to be here. A few words about myself. After graduating from a 5-year programme at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Moscow Pedagogical University, I worked as a translator/interpreter at trade shows, conferences, and business offices. I also spent some time studying at the school of Simultaneous Translation, but did not complete it as I moved to the US.
Here in NYC I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University, and then moved on to PhD in Clinical Psychology at Fordham. While working in hospital Psych Department I interpreted for patients and staff, and also translated a number of tests and instruments. Later, I received my Master's in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art, indulging in my love of arts.
Languages have always been my passion, so apart from my other academic and professional endeavors I have always been translating and interpreting in various settings. Currently, i am free lancing as a English/Russian and Russian/English interpreter in NYC hospitals. I am also doing translation and editing in various fields, from oil and gas to medical to arts.
I will be happy to assist you with your translations. |
