Source text - Hungarian A születésszám 2009 óta a gyes és a gyed korlátozásáról szóló rendelkezések következtében újra csökken. Az elmúlt év a demográfiai alapirányzatokban annyiban hozott változást, hogy a csökkenő születésszám mellett az utóbbi években a halálozásoké is mérséklődött. Az év során 88 050 gyermek született, és 128 700-an haltak meg. A nemzetközi összehasonlításban is alacsony születésszám negatív történelmi rekord, míg a halálozásoké 37 év után először csökkent a 130 ezres szint alá.
A fiatalok tanulási, munkavállalási és életkezdési lehetőségei, valamint a változó preferenciák fokozatosan átalakították a családalapítási és a gyermekvállalási szokásokat. Mindez nyomon követhető a demográfiai és más társadalmi jelzőszámok mentén. Az első gyermek születését a párok többsége ma a biztonságos családi egzisztencia megteremtését követően tervezi. Habár gyermek nélkül kevesen képzelik el az életüket, és többnyire nem is egy gyermeket szeretnének, a késleltetett gyermekvállalással összességében kisebbek a családok és kevesebb gyermek jön világra. A termékenység 2011-ben a 35 évesnél fiatalabb nők körében csökkent, míg az ennél idősebbek körében nőtt, a növekedés azonban nem pótolta a termékenyebb korosztályok körében kieső szülésszámot. A csökkenő és alacsony születésszám tovább rontja a megbillent demográfiai egyensúlyt.
Translation - English The number of births is again decreasing since 2009 due to government restrictions regarding child support. Last year has brought changes in the basic demografic trends such as the decrease of the number of deaths next to the lessening number of births. During the course of the year, 88 050 children were born and 128 700 people died. The low number of briths has reached a historical low even in comparison to international rates, while for the first time in 37 years the number of deaths has dropped below the level of 130 thousand.
The changing preferences and the general trends in education, employment, and starting life for the young generation have gradually changed the way they settle down, establish a family, and have children. This tendency can be tranced by demographic and social indexes. Most couples plan the birth of their first child after they have established a safe livelihood. Although most couples do not plan to stay childless and would prefer to have more than one child. The delay in having children results in smaller families and lower birthrates. Fertility rates dropped among women below 35 in 2011, however it grew among older women. This growth does not compensate for the loss of birth numbers in the more fertile age groups. The dwindling birthrate further deteriorates the already tipped demographic balance.
