(1) Year-end report to members, 2009

The 2009 year-end report to ProZ.com members was made in November, detailing accomplishments in this second half of the year. Among them were:
* The first ProZ.com virtual conference-- a historic event and the largest gathering of translators to date
* A successful translation contest which saw the highest level of participation in contests yet
* ProZ.com as an exclusive SDL-approved online training center
* Healthy growth and greater collaboration in the Certified PRO Network (CPN)
* A new moderator program with yearly rotation, allowing for greater community participation
* Improvements to site design and navigation
* ProZ.com TRUSTe EU Safe Harbor Certification
There is still much to do, and many more tools and opportunities to deliver which will help members expand their businesses and improve their work while they network and have fun. Thank you to all the members who support ProZ.com and make these and many other accomplishments possible.

(2) First ProZ.com virtual conference, a landmark event

Nearly 7,000 participants came together on September 30th for the first ProZ.com virtual conference, making this 12 hour event the largest in the history of the industry.
Thank you to all the attendees, speakers and sponsors who helped make this event a resounding success. Watch for more virtual events in the future.
