I became a ProZ.com paying member this year and it has proven to be the smartest business decision I have made in the past 10 years.

This past year has been great. I woke up one morning deciding to go back to translating full time but I was not 100% sure that my decision was the right one. I have joined the ProZ community in March this Year, and believe me in just 3 months I have felt like being a part of a family which is always there to support me for my betterment. Offers are on a rise, as well as the rates. It is this membership which has given me a forum which also had a positive impact on my personality. Kudoz to ProZ.com and their Blueboard for translator and agency ratings!! It's worth being a paying member. I just let a company with late payment know that I was aware they had some negative feedback and that I would add mine by the end of the week if I did not receive payment by then. I also started following their profiles on LinkedIn. 5 minutes later I received my payment via Wise!

I really like ProZ.com and I should’ve joined this platform much earlier. Since joining I've learned so much, from setting up my profile to being more knowledgeable about rates and dealing with agencies or clients.
