I am a freelance translator and journalist resident in Berlin.
I have worked freelance with the translation company DSC in Berlin since July 2010, where I am engaged in translating user manuals for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
As well as automation, my areas of interest include marketing and software (with the Berlin-based marketing and advertising company mokono GmbH), sport (for Schalke 04, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Tennis Borussia Berlin and SV Babelsberg 03).
I also work as a freelance journalist and have written for The Guardian, The Observer, Der Spiegel International, FourFourTwo, Deutsche Welle and Exberliner Magazine. I am also a co-founder of the Berlin's only English-language football magazine, No Dice. http://www.nodicemagazine.com/
As well as speaking fluent German, I also have a 2.1 degree in Italian, awarded by NUI Galway, Ireland. This included a year resident in Italy as well as several translation modules. My written and spoken Italian are at an advanced level. |
