As Rahi Moosavi noted, this was answered already. But there was a question as to the origin of the term in Persian. It seems that it comes from the name of the company at the above website.

This would seem to be another case like Kleenex, Adams, Delco, etc. where the name of the maker becomes the name of the thing, especially in a second language.

I should modify my note above to say that it is often the trade name, not so much the maker's name, which becomes the generic name in another language. We can add Babyliss and B. Goody to the list.
